Founders' Day 2010

This year Phi Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. celebrated Founders Day in conjunction with Alpha Theta Chapter. This celebration took place on the campus of Arizona State University in Tempe. During Founders Day we honor our Four Founders who gave birth to the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. In addition during achievement week we honor those who have performed public service within and outside our fraternity. We recognize individuals who have distinguished themselves through service in the local and national community (See photos)

Opening Prayer - Brother Williams Jefferson conducted the opening prayer.

Welcoming - Brother Rapheal Bennem welcomed all in attendance

History of our Fraternity - Brothers Brian Williams and Donald Key provided the history of our Fraternity.

Introduction of the Keynote Speaker - Brother Marcus Brown introduced the keynote speaker.

Closing Remarks - Brother and Basileus Loyd Bryant provided the closing remarks.

Keynote Speaker - Brother and Dr. George Greene was a distinguished educator with four earned degrees: A Bachelor of Science Degree from Tuskegee University, A Master Degree in Education, Specialist Degree from Arizona State, and the Doctor of Education Degree from Northern Arizona University.

 

Basileus - Basileus Loyd Bryant provided a few words of wisdom.

Welcome and Introduction - Brother Lee Anderson provided the welcome and introductions.
